The Victorian "Painted Lady" was a full reside project on the North Slope historical district. The home, with amazing details to it, was built in 1889 by the same architect who designed the world-famous Stadium High School.
Because the home had the detail work missing at the peak of its architecture, we were able to find a historical photo showing the details, and replicate the swooping millwork from those. When removing the siding, we found that there was a UV shadow of the original scrollwork at the very top, and using vellum paper, traced those shadows and were then able to replicate the scrollwork on PVC so they could be reinstalled and will last for many years to come. The job was very tricky, but very rewarding.
