Duke York, CEO & General Manager

Duke York
Founder & CEO

Duke started remodeling as a second career after serving the Tacoma community as a juvenile probation officer. He started as one guy in a second-hand truck. He hired his first employee in 1998 and joined the Master Builders Association in 2000. In 2015, he won State Remodeler of the Year. Duke holds a Certified Graduate Remodeler and Certified Aging in Place Specialist designations. In his free time Duke enjoys spending time with family and relaxing on Hood Canal.

Tyler York, Director-Operations

Tyler has been a part of the York team since he was a gleam in his parent’s eye. He has worked in the field during his college years in the summer. After coming home from California, he began working in the office, doing CAD drawings and writing contracts. Tyler has learned the permit process and building regulations for the remodeling industry. He is always learning about new products. In his off time Tyler enjoys spending time with his family, remodeling his home and traveling.

Dannette York, Office Manager

Dannette York
Office Manager

Dannette joined the York family and office staff in 2015. She and her daughter Rylie moved up from Central California in 2013 and have been in love with the Pacific Northwest ever since. She enjoys learning about the remodeling industry and loves to do home projects of her own.

Neil Mathura
COO
Neil moved from Florida to Washington in 2019 and is still adjusting to the change in weather after being so accustomed to the warm sunshine in Ft. Lauderdale. With an MBA from the Anglia Ruskin University in the U.K. and a myriad of business experience, he proved to be a great fit to take over the daily operations of York Enterprises as Chief Operating Officer. In his spare time, Neil has been enjoying taking road trips to explore the Pacific Northwest.

Tyler York
Director – Operations

Thomas Baxter
Construction Manager

Thomas brings wisdom, born from diverse experience and trying conditions, to the critical role of Construction Manager. After working his way through his apprenticeship to a Foreman Carpenter he began a period of military service, received his BA, and returned to the construction field as a manager. Ambitious, clever, and driven by a commitment to integrity and positive client experiences, his contagious enthusiasm for construction ensures that the York production team will get the job done. When not building or thinking about building he enjoys talking about building and sometimes other things.

Spigot the Cairn TerrierSpigot

Spigot joined the York staff at the tender age of nine weeks, in 2006. The cutest receptionist in the industry, Spigot has polished her office manners over the years and is adored by her coworkers. How does she look so great for her age? She swears by a mostly vegan diet with an occasional splurge for kangaroo. Spigot never skimps on her beauty sleep, either.
